A special starch derivative to reduce HTHP filtrate loss for all water based muds, including drilling, completion, & work over. It is nonionic in nature, suitable for muds containing salts or ion-sensitive additives. Acts synergically with Xanthan gum polymer to increase LSRV. It can be used in most brines, including seawater, NaCl, KCl, CaCl2, NaBr, and Formate salt systems. Thermally stable up to 350°F.
